Diffy Engraving Designs was born in Alaska and now based in Virginia. We specialize in custom laser engraved products. Our company gives people and businesses the opportunity to express themselves through unique designs on a variety of products.
The name Diffy comes from the word different. Our company celebrates what makes people different by creating designs that bring your interests to life.
Meet our Team
Judd and Leanne met in 2018 while living in Newport News, Virginia. Soon after, Judd moved to Alaska to continue his career in the military. Judd’s position in the military introduced him to laser engraving, where he began creating water bottles and plaques for his friends and coworkers. He quickly developed a passion for engraving and was eager to learn and create more. After three years of experience building, designing, and engraving products while in the military, Judd was inspired to create a laser engraving business of his own. Leanne moved to Alaska in 2020, and the two began creating Diffy Engraving Designs in early 2021. The two are now back in Virginia starting a new chapter in their journey. Judd is now out of the military and attending SNHU to further his knowledge in graphic design and Leanne is progressing her career in marketing!
Judd Bruner - Maker
Born and raised in Minnesota, Judd grew up playing hockey and loving the outdoors. He served in the Air Force for eight years as an aircraft mechanic. Now you can find him behind the laser or in the outdoors looking for his golf ball.
Leanne Tarleton - Owner/Maker
Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Leanne spent most of her childhood hiking through the Blue Ridge Mountains and doing gymnastics. She received her bachelors from Christopher Newport University and her masters form University Alabama. Although the dreams of being a pro gymnast are on pause, she still loves getting lost in the mountains.
